Software Implementation Consultant

With over 350 talented professionals across 12 countries, we proudly support a diverse portfolio of renowned global brands.  We are on the look-out for an enthusiastic individual who desires a challenging Software Implementation role, who has a passion for technology, learning and digital software, to join our growing Software Implementation team in Melbourne. 

Here's what you will be doing

  • Lead concurrent multiple end-to-end software implementation projects through the project lifecycle, including planning, design, configuration, training, testing, and go-live. 

  • Conduct customer workshops to elicit and analyse business requirements, translating them into solution designs and configuring the software to ensure alignment with specifications.  

  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, project reports, change and risk register, technical specification documents and user stories. 

  • Define and configure interfaces (batch .csv, SSO, API etc.) 

  • Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product, support team) to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues as well as test fixes. 

  • Support our Sales activities with running demos, presentations, completing technical tender responses and pitches. 

Here's what you will need

  • 5+ years experience in SaaS consulting, configuration, and integration of business software systems (ERP, CRM, HR), with LMS experience preferred.  

  • 3+ years experience in project management using waterfall and agile methodologies with proven results in delivering to time, budget and scope (certification desirable).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of complex technology ecosystems and data flow between interconnected systems. 

  •  Confident to present and run both functional and technical meetings and workshops with the ability to translate requirements into software solutions. 

  • Experience in training both technical and non-technical users and deliver clear, supportive guidance. 

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, solution focused mindset with a desire to learn. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) that result outstanding relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders. 

  • Customer driven with ability to work in a team and autonomously. 

  • Ability to effectively challenge customers and colleagues. 

  • Understanding of SQL, xml, database management, SSO solutions, APIs, and interfacing protocols beneficial.
