Account Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic over-achiever to join our growing team serving Australia & New Zealand. You will need to be able to share our passion for learning to inspire our customers as our new Account Manager.
In this role you will work closely with our existing customers to manage the commercial relationship, create barriers to exit, grow and maximize accounts (e.g. up & cross selling products, expanding usage) and maintain as well as strengthen the trust and relationships for references and case studies.
Your daily challenge is to bring customer satisfaction to a new level while positioning yourself as the trusted expert and voice regarding all learning solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while verifying that IMC meets all commercial contractual obligations
- Manage a client portfolio across Australia and New Zealand
- Maintain and further develop long-term relationships with multiple stakeholders within our clients
- Be active in identifying capability gaps and means to sell products and services into your accounts
- Process client inquiries, prepare offers, conduct negotiations of price and contract conditions including up-selling and cross-selling for existing customers
- Own the renewal cycle. Manage contract renewals and extensions with customers
- Account portfolio reporting and revenue forecasting
- Act as the reliable partner to the customer at times of crisis to de-escalate situations quickly and effectively for the customer in an acceptable and feasible way
- Liaising with and acting as the interface between the customer and internal IMC teams
- Actively support the Director, providing input and advice on the strategy for customer retention initiatives
What you'll need:
- Customer orientated, with strong business, negotiation and commercial acumen
- A pro-active and focused attitude, capability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders across multiple disciplines (Executive, operational, purchasing)
- Analytical & critical thinking abilities
- Ideally the right candidate has 5 + years experience in strategic, high value account management
